"Free speech" is fine but the selective enforcement, botting and algorithm problems have gotten completely out of control but I have yet to hear any complaints about it from the right. What a perversion of the "internet town square".

1/ There's a big stink about it in Aussie circles, I'm not sure how I'd like social media having my government ID, Australia already has verified digital ID in some parts which I'd rather use to validate identity (security concerns aside). There's a lot of vagueness in the bill but it depends

It depends on how much the supply chains get remodelled, I'd imagine China will pounce at the chance to fill in the void the US is going to make. If other countries find a better and more stable deal it might not recover. I.E Brazil filled up China's need for soybeans after previous tariffs

I saw something that the tariffs wont actually go into effect immediately after signing but at the end of 2025? But who knows with that administration
