Felt appropriate to open Prima first. Initial impressions are strong; nice posing and tight joints. Maybe could use a little more paint to make him pop but otherwise he’s solid!

My Walmart actually had new stuff for once. Nothing but the deluxes but they had two of each so I grabbed these fellows and left the rest for some other lucky collector(s).

MPM-12 is supposed to be delivered today.

While re-doing my main shelf I noticed my Takara Premium Starscream has sadly begun to yellow a bit as many Siege Starscreams do. It’s unfortunate that so many Siege and Earthrise figures suffer from this, even in the Premium lines. I really hope Hasbro has solved this in newer figures.

SS Scorponok has a real Bionicle 2009 look about them. Could fit right in with the Glatorian.

New little Boba for the shelf.

I’m not sure about this three pack. For me, Shockwave looks the best overall, Soundwave looks nice but is maybe overly painted(?) And Megatron is too plain and why, why did it have to be the ER head? It just looks bad. The Siege head is so perfectly Megatron, why did they change it? Why?

Watching the Hasbro Pulse stream. Thew is killing it!

Nothing new to report except Bludgeon is quite awesome indeed. Do with this information as you will.

I finally saw Barbie tonight. It was really great seeing a high budget comedy film with a lot of love behind it. On a technical level it was just spectacular and I’m in awe of so many of the sets that made up Barbie World. A visual feast as long as you’re not allergic to pink.

Soon I plan to watch Akira Kurosawa’s The Hidden Fortress, which I’m long overdue on watching as a Star Wars fan.

Last night, I finally sat my butt down and watched The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

I’m probably the first person to ever say this in film history but I think that movie might be pretty darn good.
