Such a shame that there is no way for a non-technical person to get a PC or smart phone without giving one of these companies money. For the technically minded, Linux on a Dell is easy enough. But for smartphones it's that much harder, even graphene OS mostly runs on Google Pixel devices

If you have access to one, a laser cutter would probably let you make the light guide boards out of plastic for quite a bit cheaper. Especially if you need 80-160 of them

Is it possible for a node to not be at the lowest level of the network tree? Could a house be in a neighborhood but not a specific street. Maybe a null address shard could be considered local to that shard i.e. 9800023 in your example would be node 23 in the 98 neighborhood but no specific street

The only unknowns that immediately come to mind; what happens if a street has 100 homes but needs to add one more. Does each address space (street, neighborhood, city) have to know the number of nodes/sub-networks it will have to interact with ahead of time or is that hard coded in the system design
