that AFD has higher visibility among neutral, and apolitical new users on TikTok. AFD has even higher advantage among users who are interested in info about the election. We finds consistent results for regional and federal election

Can #social #media data be (ab)used to estimate "irregular"/ "undocumented" #migration. We (w/ Alejandra Rodríguez Sánchez) were able to explore this question in the MIrreM - Measuring Irregular Migration project and non-technical briefings on our pilot studies are out today....

Migrants in Germany are overrepresented in vital job sectors including food production, construction, care work and others. #Destatis via @zdfde.bsky.social #Migration.
The German economy would collapse in many sectors without migration. Some political parties struggle to accept that reality.

Far-right wing party @AfD has large gains in two German regional elections. According to @ZDF and @tagesschau polls, the most important issue for voters was #Migration (above climate, energy, inflation health system, education)
