Trump voters aren't a monolith. They're 50% of the population. Dislike people individually and understand that the news and feed you get from social media isn't the same as someo. I've seen people actually convinced that Trump already ended income tax and Medicaid because of exaggerated articles.

You know, I do the same thing and didn't realize it. Borderlands has a bunch of weapons like that, especially in the Pre-Sequal and Wonderlands and I just prefer the "gun" guns. Preferably ones that don't have to be reloaded all the damn time.

The only difference between insurance and social programs is profit. If property taxes were raised and used to cover property destruction by natural disasters, that would let the insurers off the hook and they could get their premiums down. Because of the number of people paying, it should balance.

There's nothing racist about resisting authoritarian governments. Chinese isn't a race, it's a nationality, and Chinese people aren't bad people. The Chinese government is a bad government, though.

Likely, yes. That's not a bug, that's a feature. They're trying to end the federal department of education and allow states to set their own curriculums. Indiana has already developed new diploma guidelines that would prevent about 3/4 of our graduates from qualifying to enter a university.

The people this message was for aren't reading fact checker info. They're just saying "glad Trump is in charge. God bless America!" I have so many family members that straight up worship this man.

It's possible, for a while. That all goes out the window if the US puts sanctions on other countries for helping Ukraine. There are several levers he can pull to affect regimen change. It's all kind of business as usual for the US, except that he's on the wrong side and doing it in the open.

Murkowski only voted against him after getting permission from her party. They had the votes without her and Collins. If they didn't have the votes, Collins and Murkowski would have approved him.

What effect does that end up having on the numbers? France is about half of what the other 3 are, and their occurrence rate seems to be moving along an almost identical trend line. I would think any graph would need to adjust for age as most people with heart disease will be seniors, just population

You probably don't see it because these things were put into place decades ago and have been doing a lot of the heavy lifting in creating some degree of balance. If there are still way more white men in powerful positions with these austere DEI rules, just imagine what will happen without them.

The second amendment doesn't say guns. It says arms. That includes tanks, grenades, land mines, nuclear warheads, nerve gas, and bombs. The second amendment, as explained by the NRA, would guarantee everyone the unlimited right to own those weapons too, but it sounds dumb when you say it like that.

The point isn't legitimate if it's incorrect, though. You can't just say "they didn't have any men on the team" when there were men on the team and expect everyone else to just go along with that out of sheer force of manners.

A team of only females, only black people, or only Muslims isn't diverse and clearly isn't being created for the purpose of diversity, but DEI wasn't created as a concept because little one-off projects weren't diverse enough. It was created because systemic exclusion was happening by default.

This is kind of like explaining the difference between a pedophile and an ephibophile. Going out of your way to explain the difference makes you sound like a pedophile.
