At Last She Said It, Data Over Dogma, and The Bible For Normal People are other favorites, all unapologetically progressive

I've loved Beyond The Block and The Faithful Feminists (both ended now, but they went through a full 4 year rotation). Proclaim Peace is a great one that started this year - it is running behind the lesson schedule, but it is making it's way through the book of mormon

The Mistborn trilogy was the first thing I read, and it was really excellent. The Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians series for kids is also surprisingly good, and a very different style - more Douglas Adams satire. Elantris is another good standalone novel that is in the same style as Mistborn
