COP30 has been a waste of time, money, energy, and effort. Attendees are hypocrites, living the high-carbon lifestyle that they demand everyone else abandon.

Ambassador Carla Sands and I discuss this apparent hypocrisy in our @washtimes.bsky.social op-ed.

COP30 climate summit hypocrisy undermines credibility on environmental policy
The “Conference of the Parties” (COP30) gathering in Belem, Brazil, this week is browbeating the world for its supposed lack of effort to protect the planet and climate.

Good to see senior @DTE_Energy staff admitting the obvious truth that data centers will need large and dispatchable (read: reliable and there when you need it, not just when the weather cooperates) generation facilities.

An irresponsible and unhinged take on a solid & scientifically/economically defensible energy policy. Rep. Casten needs to take a deep and cleansing breath (possible because we have very clean air, according to the EPA) and read the just-published DOE report on climate.

Great video by @kiteandkeymedia.bsky.social, which describes how oppressive regulations like NEPA have paired with excessive litigation from extreme ENGOs to transition from a nation of doers into a nation of DON'T!-ers.

The activists aren't horrified about the environmental impacts. They know very well that CO2 at 420 ppm in the atmosphere does not harm human health.

They're "horrified" they have lost the power to control the American economy and American businesses. Losing that is what terrifies them.

Court rules against @michaelemann.bsky.social. He must pay defendants' expenses due to Mann and his counsel's "bad faith misconduct."

Amusingly, this new ruling comes after a judge cut his $1 million award to $5,000.

It's hysterical but also completely avoidable.

The coming energy crisis is a policy issue, not a resource issue. Spiking prices and energy shortages are the fault of the green ideologues pushing net zero.
