I have never once made a phone call to a call center and said, “AI agent”. Most of the time I’m screaming at the shitty IVR system to connect me to a “human”. There’s as much snake oil in the AI realm as there is in the crypto realm.

In 30 years of software engineering, I've only worked in one company where the "Product" was responsible for quality. The software was amazing. Product misses the mark when it comes to quality and SLO.
