😳That's amazing! I'm jealous! I've talked to Paul a few times online and he is incredibly generous with his knowledge! He's very much the grumpy master who happily gives away a lifetime of knowledge and pulls no punches along the way.

I was into the Image guys as a kid, but I'm constantly going back and discovering masters I never appreciated until I was old enough to know what art was: Frenz, Buckler, Jon Bogdanov, Manley, Blevins, Leonardi, Sal Buscema, Nord, Immonen, Epting, Paul Smith and probably a dozen more I'm forgetting.

I was into the Image guys as a kid, but I'm constantly going back and discovering masters I never appreciated until I was old enough to know what art was: Frenz, Buckler, Jon Bogdanov, Manley, Blevins, Leonardi, Sal Buscema, Nord, Immonen, Epting, Paul Smith and probably a dozen more I'm forgetting.
IMO: John Buscema was the true king (every page was breathtaking), Ron Frenz was the best super-hero artist of the '90s (culminating with Thunderstrike), and Lee Weeks is the best artist currently working in comics.
