This is incredible. Like obviously Patronis is doing this for terrible reasons, but he seems to be dumb enough to be giving Florida a public bank option. He's working on the assumption that Florida is forever GOP but that is so stupid. It was a swing state 8 years ago. Everything cycles.

This might be the most useless piece the Times has ever published. Yep, he was just a businessman, nothing notable like multiple bankruptcies running casinos. As president, wasn’t also impeached twice or anything. I guess the NYT doesn’t think those qualify as major career moments.

This is pretty damning. It's wild that the stock is still trading around 180 per share. Guess having that 46 P/E ratio will do that. Might be the stock that's least connected to reality.

I keep hearing about how the EV market is dead and yet, Ford EV sales up 81% year over year. As is sometimes the case, the narrative and the numbers do not match up. The market is still there, despite the high starting price point on a lot of those vehicles. Source: Quartz
