what craziness? my sugars have been as high as 820 or 48.9 dependent on your location in the world, so high my sugar has come out in my urine. Yeah, that's craziness i suppose.

dunno how old your friend is but I've been #t1d since 1970 and not having insulin is a slow, painful, horrible way to go. If i have to make this choice I know what i would do.

I've lived with #t1d for over half a century. People who think 'oh, just take your insulin/sugar and you'll be ok' are ignorant. Blessed are the ignorant. The mental toil is there.

Hiya, I am T1 since 1970. Spot on correct, we cannot control what our blood sugars can do due to other elements. Carb counting, yep, covered. Stress, weather, tired, illness the list as you mention is endless though the 'dawn phenomenon', yep, that one. Nothing like waking up to that.

Well, diagnosed T1 in 1970. Always knew my pancreas was not the best. When i read your words Their pancreas is crap," says Boyne. "It's not as bad as Type 1, but it's really crappy." Now i know it's worse than crap. Cheers 👍
