Audience doesn’t have goalposts in the way on every scoring play, 20 second clock continues inside 3 mins. Totally disagree about touchdowns. Expansion in HFX and QUE as well as ALS moving to Saputo now possible. If football field looks normal to US they will watch

Would be a fun test. NFL would have to cut their rosters, and their QBs wouldn’t be able to read the 12 man CFL defence! 🏈 They used to play exhibition games back 60 or 70 years ago.

I don’t see how it slows the game at all. It makes sight lines cleaner and more professional, allows expansion to soccer stadiums, adds more TDs, makes it a more attractive property to US Tv networks and Canadian NFL fans without taking away 3 downs and the wide field.

A lot of people do, but if we say so we’re insulted and called unCanadian. He represents the owners and they unanimously backed the changes. Old fans like us can’t keep the league afloat. Change is necessary and these ones make sense.

CFL is also different game requiring different size and skill set of players. Whose rules would you play under? 🙂🏈

Actually the field size predates metric in Canada. Both US and Canadian fields were 110 until end zones were invented. CFL added them in addition to the field and US took the yardage from that middle ten yards.

Veteran NFLers thinking they’re going to dominate the CFL have always been humbled. It’s a different game and the players need to suit the rule set.

Dude what's the point of having an entire account where all you to is criticize the CFL and Canadian players? If it's so terrible just ignore it. If you have some sort of financial interest in bashing the league let us know what it is. Otherwise let people enjoy their football.
