An update:

I’ve been teaching my oldest these phrases and she’s picking it up rather quickly.

I’m not Apache but my children are. I have a vested interest in keeping this language alive in them.

Also, while in this class I’ve been learning different phrases along with the students by using body movement to go along with these new words. Pretty ingenious! I’ve found it’s been sticking in my mind better.

I brought this up to the teacher and added that this pictogram is also found in Northern Europe. He agreed and said it’s found all over the world. He may not know what it means exactly but he found it to be invaluable as an instructional aid.

This possibly indicates the idea that there's a bit of the divine within everyone. My own thinking on this of course.

Does anyone know if it’s good? What movies would you suggest that’s appropriate for children and that are like the movies I mentioned but are centered around European folklore?

I seem to remember that there’s an Irish director, Tom Moore, who has produced some animated films comparable to Miyazaki that’s filled/centered around Irish folklore - Wolfwalkers.

Thinking about whether or not Disney has produced anything comparable, Brave, Moana, and the Frozen movies come to mind. Which I actually quite enjoy for their storytelling, morals and spiritual aspects tied into the films.

My great aunt made my mom and I gumbo when we went to visit her in Louisiana. I remember crying afterwards 😭🥵

After I seriously started giving offerings and praying, I started receiving visions. Not all of the time. But when they happen, they are quite powerful and memorable.
