Yes! They also could have tried him in CF at Scranton to see how that worked out. FWIW, Keith Law has said multiple times that he was at least an average CF in the minors, and the NYY seem to have a longstanding belief that LF is more challenging in YS. Could have gone into the Grisham QO calculus.

Wondering if it would at all be possible for you to implement the up/down arrow keys for going up/down in the timeline? Is that something you’re at all considering?

Oh, man, I really really really hope it works out. The three of you are a great combo.

She’s going to be the obvious winner of the primary (and, unless something crazy happens, the general). So, aside from a chance to jump in early with the winner, do people not realize how much (structurally) the NYC mayor needs the support of the governor? Maybe they’re just ignorant of that?

Not to be snarky, but why? Isn’t it a virtue to think that due process should apply to people you personally dislike?

I had to scroll back to the top at the end to make sure it wasn’t actually a Chotiner interview

He’s still listed, although as a 2023 visitor.

Is this guy still pontificating at Bard?

Sadly, it’s even worse, a total mess, on the Mac.

She might be factually right, but this is such a waste of time argument. I doubt 90% knows anything about the circumstance of Maduro's election. Maybe her heart's in the right place but on a practical basis this, practically, the same word salad that Schumer and Jeffries spit out.

The funny part is that when you look at Zohran’s appointments, many if not most are BDB vets, which makes me think Lander’s would have been the same or very similar.

Sadly this no better — possibly worse! — with the OMNY

Lived in Astoria for a few years after a few decades all over Brooklyn, and wow, the driving here still shocks me on a daily basis. Don't know if it's a post-pandemic thing everywhere or just here, but it's scary as hell as a pedestrian and biker.

That's some real Peter Hook stuff, so high up on the neck there

What is the “statewide” race in NY? The couple of statewide ballot issues?

Ye of little faith in Camilo Doval! (I kid, I kid . . . although he's looked surprisingly good lately)

My laziness in removing the air conditioner from the window paid off a couple of nights to cool the bedroom down before night.

Unfortunately, this makes it even harder to get from Astoria to G'point/Williamsburg. It's a 3 train ride! The R to the E to the G. For now, you can catch the M to Court Square and transfer to the G (which is painful, because it's a looong walk from the M to the G). G should extend to Q'boro Plaza.

Isn’t messaging the craft of reaching out to the stupid electorate and making them understand what you’re trying to convey? I don’t mean this in a snarky way, but, just, better to try than throw up one’s hands in disgust, no?
