I know you are and I chose my words as someone who loves the debates and discussions around economics.

They can’t because the “rational actor” theory will collapse and they’ll have to reveal it’s more psychological than mathematical. The desire to be “science” is too great.
Economic theory exists largely because Economists treat humans like lab rats, and not like lab rats watching other lab rats.
