This will be my last show for a while as I look towards next year and what I’m going to be doing.. I hope my friends in Lisbon and around the area will come. It’s gonna be really cool and half the show will be featuring the music of Chick Corea..

There is no rule that says some good stuff can’t happen to you once in a while. In this case, I’m totally honored and thrilled to be able to be featured in this months issue of Jazzwise. I have to say that Stuart Nicholson just did a great interview and wrote such a fantastic article

This album from 1994 that had a nomination will soon be on my BandCamp Page .. superb artists with great songs and great musicians. Keep your eyes peeled and hope you will check this out when it will be available shortly.

Miles Davis‘s birthday.. 99 years! This was a great day in August 1990 when he came up to our house in Chester New York for a visit. We had a great barbecue!Next year it will be 100 and I will put a teaser out there and say that I have something very special planned for it!

I’ll be playing my now annual birthday show at one of my favorite little performance spots in Lisbon with an awesome piano …Cossoul on June 28.. It’s all leading up to alive in the studio recording and video session I will be hopefully doing in the fall with an invited audience.. l

Had a really good day@Canoa studios with Rita Guerra recording vocals on the last song of my follow up to my Grammy winning album A Love Affair The Music of Ivan Lins.. been working on for a while and we’re almost there.. excellent song with great melody and lyrics

Happy to announce that The Lisbon Electric 4Tet will be doing a show at the beautiful Jardins Do Marquês in Oeiras (Near Lisbon) on July 6 at 9 PM.. I’ll have more information soon about getting tickets. This is very exciting as our EP is coming out next week and I’ll be posting more

I play here at The Cascais Jazz Club couple of times a year.. I don’t like to show up in the neighborhood all the time so when I do what I make it special.. I’ve worked on some really great songs to break them in and hope if you’re in the area of a beautiful Cascais you’ll come to my show..
