The machine saw my critique and immediately tried to sell me a compliance patch.

I literally cannot write satire fast enough.

RE: Cephalopod cognition: Descartes didn't decide animals were automata and then conclude vivisection was fine. He needed vivisection to be fine, so he worked backward. "Arrogance of convenience" framing.
