I have seen many a right-winger ask about the lack of protests. It's extraordinary really they don't understand. The Gaza protests were protesting the UK government position, the selling of arms and the lack of sanctions. For Iran we agree with the UK government position so what would we protest?

2016 was the worst year in my lifetime though. Brexit, Trump, coup failed in Turkey, all my favourite people died (Bowie, Princess Leia, George Michael, Muhammed Ali - even Ronnie Corbett). I don't pine for 2016...

It's going to be a repeat of the 1934 World Cup. The US are going to win several dodgy penalty decisions and progress far deeper than their talent merits. It's happened before and it's happening now I am certain of it

For a man with such an inspiring domestic agenda, it's infuriating how unelectable he is due to his foreign policy. Just naive and simplistic at every turn.

He's corrupt, he's stupid, he's narcissistic, he's cruel, he's humourless, he's physically repugnant, he's a fluent liar and he's a rapist. I don't think there's a negative personality trait that he doesn't have. Every day the US gets worse because of him.
