I met Jimmy Bone a few years ago while at a client visit to the SFA in Largs, knowing I was a Thistle fan I was introduced to Jimmy and asked him about that goal in '71 and he spent alot of time with me talking about it. You could see he enjoyed talking about it and I enjoyed listening. RIP Jimmy.
Partick Thistle club legend and Hall of Fame inductee Jimmy Bone has passed away peacefully during the night aged 75.

Nice one. That is me decided on renewing the season ticket!
We would like to welcome the vastly experienced Alex Rae to the club with the former Dundee and St Mirren manager taking on the position as Assistant Head Coach to Mark Wilson.

Don't think you can have both Graham the striker, and Graham the manager next season. Which do you choose? Striker for me.

Problem is, who would manage us on next to nothing? Folk might want Doolan away but I don't think putting Graham in as interim is going to fix anything.

We are listening however we only have so much resource to go around! If the audience grows - say up to 1,000 - putting resource into posting on @partickthistle.bsky.social is a stronger argument.

Decided I'd try and get through as many of the Rolling Stone "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" this year. So this is going to be an apology thread of artists/bands I haven't given any/enough credit to in my lifetime.

Firstly, Joni Mitchell. I am sorry I wasn't aware of the album "Blue" till now.

Happy New Year everyone 🎉

I read less books last year than previous years but shout out to @ianrankin1.bsky.social and the Rebus books which I've finally started reading and loving and to Kit Holden and his book about German football which was a great read while traveling Germany at the Euros!
