Makes a mockery of the supposed opting out of the public electoral roll when candidates can get my details and even know if I have a postal or proxy vote. I hope these older people also consider it to be an unwelcome intrusion as well rather than something sinister. Down with this sort of thing.

Whenever I looked at the battery usage thing in the settings on my older iPad it was very much the Chrome show. Not sure that’s a particularly scientific test but removing Chrome made the device snappier and the battery lasted longer 🤷‍♂️ I don’t have it on my new one.

There's no point, the damage is done and it's not all Twitter and Musk. There's always someone masquerading as an expert whispering comforting lies into the undemanding ears of the 'do your own research' gang. For too many people the truth doesn't really matter, it's whether the lie suits them.
