I know there’s a bit of chance when it comes to injury, but the oblique and hamstring injuries have to be damning of the staff there, too.

Kind of my thinking. Just put more eloquently. The inability of the ML staff to adapt to how the league approaches these hitters and/or an inability for the hitters to change their approach based on pitching adaptation. These are proven hitters, so I tend to agree it’s highest level coaches.
