Combined with so much baiting into anger and rage any openness gets discarded because it requires willingness to connect, but anger is easier. Maybe I'm wrong or on a surface level critique, but it's hard not blaming algorithms farming engagement from people on a given site the easiest way possible

i agree, but definitely feel like its a more systemic issue than a personal one. (in my experience) we are taught from early school that art is cringe weird and worthless, unless popular and therefore profitable, then it must be good. alot of work has to be done to undo this. not impossible though
