Setting a “permissive precedent” like this will likely come back to bite us in the ass when another nation decides to do the same against us or one of our allies. And they will rightfully point to this precedent as justification.

Cards pushed to sell sets by sheer power level, that aren’t easily reprinted will motivate players to compromise and align around a far from perfect, but acceptable solution. It isn’t a matter of if, it’s just a matter of when.
