I can't wait. Much as I loved the books as a teen, there is so much more to appreciate these decades later.

I read the Riddlemaster trilogy in high school and I always loved it. I haven't read much of her other work--I just couldn't find it anywhere at the time. Just started a re-read and I'm looking forward o working through her back catalogue now that it's readily available, in ebook form at least.

My piece, the Voyage of the Enbarr, is about an Irish boy who is pressganged into the Royal Navy. It's set in my Faerie Apocalypse universe so you know it gets a bit... unhinged. This one is already live and I encourage you lubbers to snag a copy.

I was living in an apartment complex very close to a military base and most of my neighbours were in the armed forces. When I actually got to meet them, they expressed relief to learn I was Australian. "We were watching you since you arrived. We thought you were Iraqian* or something."
