The Prime Minister has today set out his plans for education with a focus on five year olds being ready to learn by the time they start school. We’re ready to meet this challenge following the launch of our ‘Be School Ready’ magazine and campaign last year.

We need to stop designing schools for #teaching and start designing #schools for learning.

I believe that no child should go cold for poverty reasons and yet so very many do. This year, I decided to do something about it and the wonderful people at Fatface, Decathlon, Regatta, and school PTAs have already helped us wrap up 10,000 children in free new winter coats.

We had a Wicked time at the #teachingawards last night. Great to see so many amazing people rewarded for their passion and love of what they do.
