I didn’t like the miniatures that came with my Marvel Dice Throne board game, so I’m making my own. The first set of characters is drying while the second prints. These models were designed by various creators—Legion, Hall of Heroes, C27, and Wicked3D have figures in this batch.

I finally had time to start Dragon Age: The Veilguard and am thoroughly enjoying it! Here’s my Rook, who accidentally ended up looking a little like a Gelfling.

Thank you so much to everybody who came to my table at the MegaCon signing today. I had a fantastic time, saw great friends I don’t see often enough, and sold more books in 2 hours than I thought possible. I was too busy to take many pics, but here are the few I managed to get, solo & with friends!

The YouTube Shorts comments are a cesspool. I suspect it’s because the algorithm is terrible and sends videos out willy nilly. I posted my second short today, announcing my signing at MegaCon, and this was the first comment, within 2 minutes:

2/ Anything you post there (including your book’s cover, other art, excerpts from your book, etc) becomes fair game for Rednote to do anything with that they want, including publishing it themselves. And you can’t get those rights back once you’ve posted the content.

I just finished reading Red Rising for the first time and am blown away. How did I manage to avoid this book for so long? Immediately jumping into the second book.

My 3D printing project for the weekend is making miniatures for my Star Wars Outer Rim board game (by default all the characters it came with are just cardboard standees). Here’s the first batch in progress!

It's so wild that, more than a year and a half after I removed Akithar's Greatest Trick from Kindle Unlimited, it's still getting occasional KU pagereads. Shout out to whoever has been carrying my book around on your Kindle for the past two years!

In case anybody’s wondering, yes, I’m still learning about and obsessed with my 3D printers. I bought the file a while back and only just now got around to printing this guy. He’s 40mm tall from head to toe. The design is from @twingoddessminis.bsky.social, who makes an amazing line of characters!

The only thing that surprises me about this is that no TS songs were in my top five. Otherwise, yep, that was my 2024!

Right now, I’m working my way through printing all the miniatures from two out-of-print expansions for the Mansions of Madness board game! I got both a filament printer and a resin printer over the past month. These are from the resin one.
