A four year delay to implementation for @kimleadbeatermp.bsky.social's bill is not only completely excessive, but also potentially makes it a general election issue for 2029. Is that intentional?

Coercion would carry a heavy penalty under the new law. Were a person to be expected to die within 6 months, would the potentially coercive partner risk 14 years in jail to cut that short?
