I liked the menu at a place called Exile in St. John’s so I walked down to the restaurant. I was thinking “shame it’s not on Main Street”. I get here and low and behold.

Cape Bonavista Lighthouse. Newfoundland is an explorers paradise. It’s hard to get here but so full of wonders.

I’m not a cruise person but I am very much an overnight ferry person. I’m looking like a crazy person doing my yoga on deck with a bunch of long haul truckers as we approach Newfoundland.
I’ve traveled a lot but there is something rugged and magical about this island. Feels like home.
