Counterpoint: Let’s look at the last time Softbank sold a stake in Nvidia.
They made a profit of $3b in 2019 that today would be a profit of $200b+
So it’s 50-50 what this means for Nvidia… 🤔🤷🏾

Nvidia’s share price is now nearly $200 and that 2017 stake would have been worth $277b today.

Oh thank God Tom because I thought you said “lie in straight” and there’s no way Richo could ever manage that.

What if it turns out it would in fact cost trillions if you factor in the kickbacks they require? 🤷🏾🤪

I can see this POV but there’s a degree of difference between the EU (a framework of rules and metrology for resolving conflicts) and a Federal government.
It does point to how difficult it is to truly build any “apples to apples” comparisons of responses.

I’m a bit neutral on this because the folks reporting on it are going on what the company PR is putting out..
Is it really the journos job to teach people about the different types of AI and how they are implemented - for each and every product?
I take your point though..

OK, but it’s also possible to describe this behaviour and the only reason not to, presumably is because you want people to think your ML model is a LLM because that’s what people now think AI (just) is.

I’m not really sure on what basis you’d want to compare “all of the EU” to the US? Population sizes?
The EU isn’t a “Federal” version of its member states in terms of individual countries health responses and outcomes?
