Now I’m wondering who all that content came from? It always had a knowledgeable volunteer Wikipedia vibe, but I never looked into it. But if it is, I’m wondering if they get a share of the revenue if ads aren’t just to pay for hosting, etc.

Doing things only because there’s a direct payoff for that person, irregardless of any other consideration is the whole reason we’re in this mess to begin with. Keep up your good work. Being a good and responsible human is the best reason to do anything.

I’m not convinced “ignoring” is totally accurate. Maybe “still working on reconciling”. Solarpunk is still a very young meme complex. One of the reasons I like your OP so much is that it calls out something that could elevate the art part. And maybe the movement part after that I guess.

As for my contribution, I’ve faded a bit on the genre since the desire to make SP the vanguard of prefiguring a real social movement has spawned imo too much tone policing. Putting is/isn’t SP obstacles in the art’s way dimmed my enthusiasm for the community.
