The attached article highlights some challenges with managing AI in healthcare. Does anyone else disagree with the notion that "we don't know how to do" model validation & maintenance? I don't find that mysterious.

On Friday, HHS released their strategic plan for AI. At ~200 pages, you might consider using AI to summarize it. ;) Though not a "strategy" IMO, it is an excellent compilation of trends, opportunities, risks, and aspirations.

Great study from Anthropic further illustrating the AI misalignment I wrote about earlier. Healthcare use cases need AI architectures that provide access to and non-repudiability of those scratchpad records.

Recent research shows evidence that AI models can autonomously perform deception, alignment faking, sabotage, or sandbagging...and lie about doing it. We need more transparency. #AI #ChainOfThought #Reasoning #LLM #Scheming

The use of PBC corporate structures by #OpenAI, #Anthropic, and other #AI companies sounds really great, but is it just window dressing? In the middle of an intensive AI arms race, can the winners truly be mission driven? Let’s hope so.
