I’ve been wondering why the older ladies in my Pilates classes treat me like the main character (I admit I assumed the worst), and I realized today it’s because I wear brighter colored/ more fashionable activewear. They are very much a big t shirt and black leggings group

I don’t mean “popular”. I mean genuinely liked and admired by most people you meet. Then you come across someone who resents you for it

I know people don’t have to talk to you daily but like when you like someone, you ain’t gonna ignore them with no response. In all honesty, no response is a response but assuming such is not always ideal. People harp on communication but are selfish and full of shit.

Thinking about the time this girl saw me fixing my hair at the drive through window. She said “you look good, girl” so I smiled and said thank you, but she started acting really weird afterwards. Days went by before I realized she was actually trying to play me and I took it as a genuine compliment.
