Except the "spat" has now been given more attention because a journalist has focused on who supposedly won said spat. It reads like it was written for fellow journalists, not for the public who don't have access to challenge politicians the same way and journalists are letting the public down.

That's quite a pompous take. Madeleine Chapman defending David Seymour wasn't on my 2025 bingo card. I expected a more similar article to the one you wrote last year about Luxon's boring speech at Waitangi. It would have been energy and time better directed.
