I heard somewhere that a giant squid's tentacles would taste foul due to the ammonia required to live at that depth as opposed to regular squid. So yknow I suppose it depends on what chemicals the eldritch being has in its blood to counter its atmosphere

Oh god I used to write fantasy without any "backing" but the more I delved into Sci-Fi, mainly Xenofiction and Speculative Biology... The better my fantasy writing became apparently.
