Also this is not an excuse for them, it’s weighing on me heavily since it’ll affect my work. I have many students that I know this will directly affect, and that makes me even more upset about it.

Sadly I think it’s cause of federal funding. Even though it’s a nonprofit, they likely receive funding/felt the need to reflect the current administration or else funding would stop. It’s sad, I work for a nonprofit w/ a summer camp and this is something that’s on my mind as we are federally funded
