Prepping for winter now, and started with some cutting back this weekend. Council stops garden bin collections mid November, which always seems ridiculously early, so need to fill it up while I can! #GardensHour

Been doing a lot of watering in the heatwave, but also picking soft fruit. First batches of white currants picked and frozen this weekend, plus loads of gooseberries. #GardensHour

The result of No Mow May (and June) - red and white clover, self heal, orange hawkweed, buttercup, hogweed, bladder campion, and forget-me-not. And those are just what I can easily identify! #GardensHour #NoMowMay

I started digging out my border extension at the weekend. Quite pleased with this, it just needs filling up now, which requires some digging of the compost heap. #GardensHour

Bulbs starting to get going now. I'm hoping for bluebells this year, planted them a couple of years ago but they haven't flowered yet. #GardensHour
