My list of what I did last week, as an actual federal employee:

1. Consumed by fear for loss of job
2. Lived on Reddit to see in my agency was hit yet
3. Emailed hiring manager on job I interviewed for
4. Got fired for no reason
5. Got a job offer

Honestly, I’m happy I was let go at this point.

I slept through the night for the first time in days… I’ll enjoy these 2 weeks off work. Then back to the grind!

I got a job offer 3 hours after being let go from my federal job 🙌🏻

Well… i posted a few days ago I thought I was being fired. I was wrong. It was drug out. I was terminated today. I drove into office one last time to turn in my equipment and badges. It was a honor to serve my government, even if it was a short time.

I’m 100% positive I’m being let go from my federal job today. I hope they have the decency to do this in the morning and not wait the entire day 😔

End of an era… my Facebook account was created in January 2005. I was taking a break. But I logged in to see if it was true. Yep, I was one of many following a convicted felon without my consent. Immediately blocked.

It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to deactivate 🙄

I haven’t been on Facebook, IG, or TikTok in 3 days. I’ve gotten back into reading and it feels great!! 2 books down. I do not need those platforms, as it turns out 🙌🏻
