Great to see two kingfishers at Linlithgow Loch yesterday. I think the bird on the right is male. Not sure if the other could be a juvenile? #birdinglothian
Two kingfishers are perched on the same branch on the edge of the loch. Both are looking towards the left. The rust coloured chest of the left hand bird is facing the camera, while the turquoise left side and back of the other bird are prominent.

I'm wondering if this duck which was at Bavelaw on Christmas Eve is the scaup, or just a tufted?
2 ducks on choppy water, one of which may be a female scaup.
