I think failing to would cause an actual revolt in the party. His leadership is kinda centered on never putting his members in a tough spot, and him refusing to endorse will make this an unbelievably annoying issue for senate dems to deal with.

Genuine question, What position would lander gun for in a Mamdani admin? He was comptroller and anything short of deputy would probably feel like a downgrade no?
With the primary challenge it does feel like he’s leveraging the increased name recognition and good will he got from the election cycle

I think Mamdani win is more significant than a lot of rightleaners are giving credit for ( though less than his ardent supporters). He’s first person I’ve seen to actually activate checked out voters for dems since Obama. Every other election Tuesday night generally felt like an anti trump vote.

Go to a protest about Gaza and ask them if they think the RSF actions also qualify as a genocide, I doubt you’ll get many people who disagree.

Don’t you think part of the issue here is that the us govt is not directly aiding the RSF? Bidens admin even labeled it a genocide at the end of his term. I wish people protested the usas relationship to the UAE more, but our dedication to some dumbfuck accord apparently locks us into that alliance
