Before my account becomes essentially my primary method of processing anxiety before the national championship game. #GoBucks I want to share the newest lesson I learned myself. If you find yourself in a writing funk where you're not outputting the way you want. Track it. 1/2

Just finished watching the Silo season 2 finale. That was amazing storytelling. I loved the books and the show is just engages with that world so well. Every performance is top tier. My Friday lunch hours will need to find a new show to watch.

Of all the recent Christmas movies, I find myself watching A Christmas Story Christmas every year. The pressure of making Christmas special as a parent mixed with the return to childhood home and dealing with the loss of a parent. it mixes the joy and sadness I feel every year.

I don't know what I love more the Superman trailer or the Cleveland folks in my social media feeds pointing out where in Cleveland certain things were shot. Looking forward to the movie! I get Fantastic Four and Superman right around my birthday! Can't wait.

I've long been a fan of Jason Segal's acting. Mostly for his comedic timing and ability to make his characters feel so real and lived in. This past episode of Shrinking might be his best work yet including some excellent dramatic work.

May every one of you have the joy of a co-worker sending you the absolute perfect gif to commiserate a work situation today. I just had one sent to me and belly laughed for a solid minute. Gif attached to my post.

For anyone finding themselves hunting several types of gift cards all at once Like if your PTA sent a spreadsheet with teachers preference out. Your local Kroger is STRICTLY better for selection than your local target.

Tonight was my kids christmas orchestra performance. supporting is much easier with cushioned chairs versus bleachers for basketball but apparently yelling is frowned upon ;) #sportsparent

When I first started working in IT, I'd give an eyebrow raise to the grizzled veteran giving larger than I thought necessary estimates for new integrations and projects...Now whenever an overly excited project manager comes to visit me I am the grizzled veteran.

After getting my Apple Music replay, I really wish there was a way to remove your kids lullaby albums from counting because that album WAY out classed anything else I listen to.

There is no purer form of college football than rivalry weekend. Oftentimes in state schools where guys played each other in high school. Enjoying the games tonight and excited to cheer on my Buckeyes tomorrow!

I love watching Kelsey Mitchell play basketball. (Loved seeing her at Ohio State and now with the Fever) This really touched me as the dad of two basketball players so I hope you enjoy it too. www.theplayerstribune.com/kelsey-mitch...

The one thing I know for sure, is that whatever comes next, it‘ll suck not having my dad to do it with.

Watching some streaming original shows and I keep getting the sense that we are so focused on everything we CAN do that sometimes we lose sight of we need to as creatives to tell a compelling story. Mark Rosewater was right. Restriction DOES breed creativity.

Reached a conclusion over the weekend. I need to trunk the novel I’ve been working on. It’s too personal for me to see it straight. I was working on a short story in a world that I love and editing it realizing that I needed to shelve it for now. So I’ll put it down and start work on something else.

First day of summer vacation. Kid is up at 5:40 and ready to do nothing. Now I have the soundtrack of season 2 of frog and toad while I write.

Nothing like your 12 year old to put doubt in your fashion choices. I bought a pair of comfortable shoes and when my oldest daughter saw them. She sneered and asked why I bought those. Sweet Revenge guess who controls the songs playing on the 16 hour drive to vacation.
