All i can say is,

Progress is getting her ready to ride again. Best way to distract myself from the doom-scrolling.

Starting to look like a bike again. New gaskets in the top end, fresh valve seals, all cleaned up and mic'd out. Now to start cleaning up rocker boxes

Pulled the valves out of Melissa yesterday. She obviously hasn't been breathing well for a while. Cheap gas, too rich on the carb, valves not seated well and leaking valve seals are all contributing factors. Some cleaning, lapping and new seals on the way!

With all the doom scrolling that goes on here is a puppy break! Who doesn't like a puppy???

With all that's going on in American politics, and the fires in Cali, I wanted to post something that makes me happy. GO CUBS!

Got her down. Now the best part is some serious inspection and cleaning time, then back together! New James gasket kit, new S&S Carb, tin is going to the paint shop.

Time for a full top end and she'll be running hard again.
