Yep, the performers were giving it their all (especially Katie Brayben), but there was just not enough development for the icon herself. I wish it had taken the route of The Eyes of Tammy Faye and been more of a full life retrospective rather than focusing solely on PTL.

It wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be (especially with drinks in hand). Its tone was just all over the place, one minute you’re having an ensemble doing full tongue in cheek innuendo, the next Jerry Falwell is Javert singing to a Satellite. It needed more *Tammy*.
