Spotted this beauty on my morning walk.
Canna indica, commonly known as Indian shot, African arrowroot, edible canna, purple arrowroot, Sierra Leone arrowroot, is a plant species native to the Americas. The edible rhizomes are a source of starch.

Saw these tonight on my evening walk: lycoris radiata, known as the red spider lily, red magic lily, corpse flower, or equinox flower, is a plant in the amaryllis family. It is originally from China, Japan, Korea and Nepal. It blooms in late summer and early autumn. #bloomscrolling #flowers #lily

I call these moonflowers.

Datura is a highly poisonous, vespertine-flowering plants belonging to the nightshade family. They’re known as thornapples or jimsonweeds, but also as devil's trumpets or mad apple. Other names include moonflower, devil's weed, and hell's bells. #bloomscrolling
