Week 12: Being from Alberta, whenever there are forest fires in B.C. the smoke causes the air quality to be unbreathable for days at a time. This causes outdoor sports such as soccer and baseball to have to cancel or postpone games. Kids miss opportunities to play. @kin110uofr.bsky.social

Early in his NHL career Alex Ovechkin wore a tinted visor. This goes against the typical norms of hockey where flare and individuality is discouraged. These norms in hockey are slowly going away but were taken more seriously 20 years ago. #Underconformity @kin110uofr.bsky.social
