A great early Spy vs. Spy strip by Cuban cartoonist (and creator) Antonio Prohías. This strip leverages the grammar and form of comics to tell the story, which is a hallmark of the SVS comics. Really inventive, playful, imaginative cartooning.

Hugo and Dino face off against a Slime Monster from outer space who intends to take over the planet.

Just finished penciling my next book: RED PANDA & MOON BEAR 3!
Right now it’s at 221 pages. It took me about 3 months to pencil it all. I spent a month before this thumbnailing out the visual composition, so I could focus on design in pencils.

Right now it’s at 221 pages. It took me about 3 months to pencil it all. I spent a month before this thumbnailing out the visual composition, so I could focus on design in pencils.

Chapter 6 was a tough one. It just didn’t come together how I’d planned it so I had to do a lot of revising and rewriting. Cartooning is just solving a giant puzzle, anyway.
