Great to be at the @inforightsproject.bsky.social event on Freedom for the Press. Proud to be in the room alongside so many backers of a free media in Australia, including those supporting Mary Kostakidis in her battle with the Zionist Federation of Australia.

Subway says that for every Anzac biscuit they sell they will make a donation to veterans, isn't that nice? Oh, the donation will be 10 cents. And oh, they will only donate a maximum of $100,000...so yeah, not every biscuit really...

If opposing the Walkley Foundation using journalists' reputations to promote fossil fuel greenwashing and journalists' money to fund AI bots to take media jobs makes me part of a "far-left activist rabble" ... then frankly sign me up

This is such misleading advertising from the ALP - this page takes you to a donation page not for Ali France’s long shot Dickson campaign, but the ALPs general “Target Seat Campaign Fund”. They are sending your donations elsewhere and not being upfront about it #auspol

Someone I recently freelanced for asked me to sign up to a website called Glimmer to facilitate payment. This was fine. But on their website there are job posting asking for freelance journos in war zones (Sudan, Palestine, Ukraine) to work for criminally low rates of less than $200 per day
