Do you think the decapitation objective could actually work? What would even follow? It seems Israel has bet everything on a semi-orderly regime overthrow or U.S. intervention. I can’t see much in between that would make Israel safer.

I have conflicting feelings about the parade’s obvious fiasco. It should be a good thing, right? Or is it just a symbol of further American hegemonic retreat and increasing international risk?

They are a coalition of fascists: Christian Nationalists (Heritage Foundation), oligarcho-fascists (Thiel–Musk), and populist-fascists (Bannon–Miller). They will eventually turn on each other, but before that, they will try to destroy the American republic together.
