I did briefly hope during the last movie that Bond would peg it and Ana de Armas would steal his id and just take over.

Have you spent any time in the Netherlands?

That's why you must always carry two phones.

Nice!

Are you looking for a way to use it structurally, to stiffen the bike? Or for an accessory?

Sending hugs. And some gentle strokes for the kitty, if they are in the mood. These things are so implacable.

I've always thought the Chinese Room argument was kind of silly. It argues that if a little thing isn't conscious then a vast complex assembly of billions of the same thing can't be.

Individual neurons aren't conscious, so if that's how it works then we aren't either.

Variable-insulation fabrics.

Yes. The unsnapped one is probably halfway through its wear life.

This is a common failure of retrofit insulation systems - you really want a vapour barrier that's on the hot side of your insulation, not the cold side.

Yes, I think that would work. Has to be for long enough to warm the wall up so it'll have an energy cost.
November 3, 2025 at 11:08 AM
I think it'll make you warmer but you'll get a lot of condensation and hence maybe mould on the wall behind them. You need to stop warm wet room air sneaking behind them.
