Question 6 is the following: Adoption, scale, and investment For your primary GenAl initiatives, where will your newsroom sit on the overall adoption curve in 2026? (Select one) Experimentation/Piloting: Isolated teams are testing, with no clear budget or strategy Initial Rollout: Used in one core workflow or department, with limited measurement Scaling: Used by multiple departments/workflows with established guidelines and clear success metrics Fully Integrated/Strategic: Central to core editorial and business processes, with continuous investment. Note that "fuck this shit" is not an option. The survey is the equivalent of a push poll: the questions are designed to produce only one 'correct' answer, which is that 'my org is totally into the Al project.'

I think it’s telling that when you look past the nonsense boilerplate which seems to be required in any announcement like this, these are very important and legitimate questions to be asking. 🤨

(also, just so we’re clear, it’s not “changing” how “we” build software and there is no “age of AI” 🤣😂🤪)
