Listen to your elders. Remember the quietest of details, especially those unspoken. Research meticulously, discovering a rich context to even the most ordinary days of their lives. Some day, tell these stories to the future.
Once Upon a Time, Walt Disney fought fascism.

I call upon the Disney Company to honor that patriotic tradition now.

I shall never have confidence in a person who is so completely unfit for the office of the Presidency. His aberrant behavior goes far beyond buffoonery. He is an unbridled threat to democracy, here in the United States and around the world.

… Through it all, I played Neil Young’s vinyl albums on my record player, over and over again. My passion for questioning all that threatens our inalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness will never be extinguished.

How would I obtain a duplicate ID sticker for our desert tortoise, Killer? After 5 years, it's in rough condition. He's actually been a part of the family since the 1960s. We became his caretakers after my mother-in-law's death, and I registered him, as is required. Living his best life now!

Here’s my top pick from the April 5th Protest at the State Capitol in Sacramento, California. Outstanding technique, pristine execution, powerful message. Wrecking Ball, indeed.

Agree about + law enforcement presence. This was my 4th protest in Sacramento since Inauguration Day, and they've always done a good job keeping everyone safe. Plus, the magnificent horses most of them ride are great. As I was editing my photos, I suddenly noticed this photo of a Legal Observer.

I stood by this local Sacramento ABC 10 reporter and his cameraman at the protest. We were up on the steps, very close to the front door of the Capitol building, facing the crowd assembled on the concrete areas. I did find his report on YouTube. Not very riveting, to be honest.

Yes. My husband and I are going to the California State Capitol in Sacramento tomorrow. This will be the 4th protest I’ve attended there since Inauguration Day. As the 2rd great grandchild of these Scottish Nova Scotians, you bet we’re fighting sociopathic fascism with everything we’ve got.

Will be in Sacramento on 4/5 for Picnic Protest on Capitol lawn. 4th protest I’ve attended since January. 6 hour drive. Honored to participate. It does make a difference. Now, more than ever, we need to gather with those that validate truth and reality.

“A Royal Flush beats a Joker and a King.” I’m standing next to the porta potty on the Capitol grounds. Sacramento Protest on March 4th. Part of the Resistance. 😉

So very honored to be in the presence of Veterans and their allies at the State Capitol in Sacramento today. The presence of thousands more, unable to be there as they remain in our memories only, was profoundly felt.

For anyone going to the Veteran’s Protest at the California State Capitol in Sacramento, here is a list of restroom facilities from previous protests I’ve attended. You’ll thank me later 😬

On my way 2 Sacramento 4 Protest. Step-father’s VA survivors benefits helped me go 2 UC Davis. He’s buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado, because he wanted 2 be by his brothers in arms. 2nd stepfather & Mom buried at Riverside National Cemetery. No one shall dishonor Vets on my watch.

Saw rain forecasted for Sacramento today, but clearing from noon till 3, so I’m driving up there myself to join the Veteran’s protest. Important for me to be there, because many loved ones who sacrificed cannot. This is too important to let some rain stop the mission today.

This is what I found on the 50501 website. We’ve been to two protests in Sacramento, driving in from Fresno. The last protest on March 4 did gather at Crockett Park. The new protest on March 14 appears to be gathering directly on the California State Capitol grounds. Thank you for your activism!
